SPRINT PRIMES ON CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHTS ONLY (2,1 Bomber Points and £10 cash)
There will be a sprint prime laps at every championship round race but never within the first or final 5 laps. The start of the sprint lap will be signalled by a long whistle on the line and the end of the lap by a waved white flag. The winner of the sprint prime will take £10 cash and 2 bomber points with 2nd and place scoring 1 point.
At the end of the season the King and Queen will take the title, trophy & £200 cash.
In the event of a points tie at the end of the season the higher number of wins triumphs. If still a tie then a higher number of 2nd places, 3rd places triumphs etc.Sprint prime results do not count. Even if less than 10 riders start all Bomber points will still apply.
HAIRPIN SHORTCUT - TO BE USED TO PREVENT DANGEROUS SPRINT FINISHES.
If the leading group are looking like they may end up sprinting to a finish into the back of a slower group a lap down then we may send the 'about to be lapped group" through the hairpin shortcut which will throw them 30 seconds up the circuit giving the lead group more space. Three Left Arrow signs will be shown to the group along verbal instructions. See the map of the circuit here >>>
If a single or small group of riders who are way out of the points are deemed to be a possible obstruction approaching the last lap then they will be pulled out after the 5 Laps to go board has been shown. Their finishing position will be where they finished at the end of the previous lap.
SIGNING ON & NUMBER PLACEMENT
Pre entry is preferred as it is quicker for everbody and cheaper for you ! Women's signing opens 6.30pm and men's at 7.10pm.
Numbers need to be pinned LEFT ON YOUR BACK and LOW. The parking area can be grimy and slippy so we suggest carrying the bikes to the circuit proper.
Although we have an excellent safety record at the Bomber, professional first aid is present at every round.
